What is Menstrual Equity all about?
A better life for young menstruators starts with uninterrupted access to education. A girl who completes her schooling without the barrier of period poverty grows into a woman who is empowered to lead her community. Working alongside partners like the Urban Games in Washington, we believe that by removing the stigma, she will care more about her future and be better able to support systemic change natively.

We are focused on making a long-term impact by addressing period poverty across the nation. We have a bold vision: building a society where menstrual equity is recognized as a fundamental human right.
The individuals supported by our programs face major barriers to accessing basic hygiene; many are living in marginalized communities, experiencing extreme poverty or dealing with housing insecurity.

Benita discovered first-hand that chemical ingredients within everyday products can have an extreme impact on our health. Her passion for community health and wellness led her to found the Love Her Period Foundation, ensuring women have education, information, and access to clean products and services.

Joseph Yeadon serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the Love Her Period Foundation. Based in Washington, Joseph is dedicated to establishing the operational framework and strategic partnerships required to eradicate period poverty and support marginalized communities nationwide.
